Hi folks 1st timer attempting resolution this question - "What is the Microsoft recommended ratio of users to CPU and Ram on a 2000 Server workstation?"

No valid number exists. A dozen users and a heavily accessed SQL
database may be too many, 2,500 may be fine for simple file and print
services. In general, current average CPU speeds and maxing RAM for
the system (or 2 Gigabyte) is a wise move.

Besides, what's valid today may not be two years from now when you
merge with MegaCorp and double your user base... :)
