w2k rebooting when opening doc

Can anyone help me with this? We are using W2k service
pack 4,and all of a sudden when opening word docs the
system reboots or just sits a a blank blue screen.What can
be done to fix this?Any help would be great!

Look in the event viewer and find the specific STOP code.
At least, you'll stand more chance of getting help if you
report the relevant info.
