W2000 pro installation

I have a computer with a pre-installed W2000 pro on it. When I boot
it, the installation is being completed.

When I *very carefully* enter the administrator password twice and
then reboot the computer, the password seems to be incorrect after
all.

Before starting the installation I have made a ghost-image of the
disk, so restoring back to the pre-install is no problem, but I don't
get any further.

Anyone to help me?
 
Passwords are case sensitive unlike logon name. That would be the first thing
that I would check. --- Steve
