W Explorer doesn't recognize new partition

Hello, maybe someone on hear can help. I created a new partition on 80
gig hd, using Partition Magic 7.0. Everything went wonderful.Parts of
Windows XP Home ( System folder, system restore) recognize that my new
G drive is there, but Windows Explorer does not.???
Help?
