I just bought a Intel core 2 Quad processor - with Microsoft Vista Home
Premium loaded on it - and keep getting this message in 'Performance Info
and Tools -- advanced tools - VxD loader error
what does this do? How do I fix it - I am strictly an amateur and did buy a
3 year Insurance plan so shouldn't this be covered under my policy thanks
for any help Jean

Hi,

A VxD is a virtual device driver, so the error message is likely indicating
an issue loading one, usually stemming from backwards compatible autoexec.nt
or config.nt files. I'm assuming you purchased this system pre-installed
with Vista? If so, the manufacturer should be contacted for assistance as
this is likely an issue directly related to the modified image they use for
the machine.
