VX2 REMOVEL

I've been trying to remove the spyware called VX2
Ad-ware se will not remove it and spy-bot will not also.
Please help. With the computer sitting idle I get pop-ups like crazy.

The VX2.BetterInternet Finder XP/2k by Option^Explicit seemed to work, and
has had good reports, whereas the Ad-Aware SE Vx2 add on (plug-in) failed.
