Vuescan file default settings?

How do I set Vuescan (8.2.21) so that when I wish to load an .ini file it
always defaults to c:/vuescan ?
 
I THINK by setting Output|Default directory to that path. OTOH, Vuescan
tends to remember your last accessed directory, I've never quite
figured it out.

Regarding putting your ini's in C:\Vuescan, your call, but personally I
prefer to put them in a My Doc's sub-directory, specifically for ini's.

Right-click the Vuescan shortcut icon, select Properties, in Shortcut
tab
enter the place where you want it to pick the .ini file from.
