I read on several web site it's not possible to use VSS on Vista. To be
honest, I didn't try, I tried all software I use but not this.

No, I have not tried.
But according to the link, VSS 2005 works on Vista.
If you're talking VSS 6, then there may be issues as 6 may not be
compatible.
