In the dial-in tab properties, theres an option to assign static IPs. But
there is no option to specify subnetmask or default gateway...Does it
matter?

the dns\vpn server is in a class b subnet, and where im dialing from is most
likely class c...

As long as the static IP address rage is in the subnet, remote clients can
interact with teh private network.

<Ashok>It does not mater. When client makes a VPN connection, it will get a
new IP address allocated by the VPN server (which is class b subnet).
