VPN through Firewall

Hi all,

What ports (and protocols) need to be open (in and out) to allow a VPN to a
Windows 2000
server from the internet? May need to do terminal services over it as well.

Hi Chris,

PPTP uses TCP port 1723 and IP Protocol 47 (GRE). Terminal Services uses
TCP 3389, but if you are connecting to the terminal server through the
tunnel you won't need to open TCP 3389.
