VPN Server not accepting connections from a different subnet

D

DA

I have a strange issue. My 2000 VPN Server accepts connections from LAN
(in my test lab). When I try to connect from my home (different IP) I am
not able to connect. While connecting from home, I am making sure that
there is no hardware/software firewall involved in the communication.

I have disabled all the filters on the VPN server to accept all traffic.

What else should I check ?

It sounds like a router in between is not passing GRE (IP Protocok 47)
traffic. Make sure all routers in the path allow this traffic.
