I have a client that we connect to via VPN. All of our XP machines work
fine connecting to it. My Windows 2000 prof notebook won't connect.

Any ideas? Is there any patches or updates to make the Win2000 VPN work
like the XP version?

thanks in advance,

Mark

Hi,

Logon with the same username and password as the VPN account. With
Windows XP you can logon with any account, but W2K is a bit more
fussy. I used W2K for VPN with no problems. What VPN server are you
running? I use MS so I am not sure about others.
