I made a post about wanting to network 2 computers one at office the other at home, I was sent to the following
http://www.onecomputerguy.com/networking/xp_vpn.htm
http://www.onecomputerguy.com/networking/xp_vpn_server.htm
I did what it suggest in these articles and was able to log into the server, the server show as one client connected
But I was not able to access the server. I was under the impression that using VPN I would be able to access the network the same way as a wired network i.e. shared folders, printers.....
Please further help would be appreciated.

Richard,

I posted a reply on this a little earlier. When you connect can you ping
your servers IP address? What about by name? If you get a reply by IP but
not by name it may be that the home PC is getting it's DNS from the ISP and
not from your network. You will need to allow DNS through the tunnel or an
easy fix may be to add your networks DNS server in the home PC's list.
