Hello everyone,

I have been following and reading threads on VPN for a
while. I then decided to configure my Windows 2000 for
VPN using the Configuring a VPN technet instruction.
However when I got to VPN (Local)Properties, I clicked on
enable IP routing and evrything required, but my system
did not give me anything at the bottom that says Use the
following adapter to obtain DHCP, DNS, and WINS addresses
for dial-up clients.

Was this because I am not using Dal-Up or because I only
have one adapter on my server?

Thanks

The behavior you see is because you have one adapter. Note that you are
trying to configure a single NIC VPN server - so your server should be
sitting behind a NAT with port forwarding set on the NAT.
