Hi All,
I have setup an XP Pro VPN Server behind a router on a network at my work.
I can connect to the VPN with a 98SE box inside the network, using Dialup
Networking with the 192.168.x.x IP.
I have an XP Pro box at home. I want to connect to the XP Pro box at my
work. Whe I try to connect, a dialog box pops up saying verifying username
and password, but then disconnects saying that the network is not setup
correct.
SETTINGS
I have setup a static IP name, which I am using to connect.
I have opened ports 1723, 47,50, 51, 500, 501 (numbers which I have gotton
from numerous posts) are forwarded to the XP Pro box - All TCP & UDP except
1723 which is only TCP
Block WAN resquest is disabled
Multicast is enabled
IPSec is enabled
PPTP is enabled
Remote Management is disabled
Remote upgrate is disabled
MTU is enabled
Dynamic Routing
Working Mode - Gateway
TX disabled
RX disabled
DMZ Host - Not used - Don't want to use it
MAC Address Clone - filled in
My Home computers I have tried with and without the builtin firewall, to no
avail
Any thing that I have missed?
Thanks
