VPN Connection

I have tried setting up a VPN connection on my home computer. Everything seems to work, but the shortcut doesn't show on the desktop and it doesn't show in network connections

Any help.
 
should be at vary bottom of network connections I have to scroll down to see
it in mine.

There is no scroll down just one big empty window
