I am having a problem with my LAN when using cisco's vpn
client... when the vpn client is intalled I cannot ping my
second computer "the one with the vpn client installed" I
am trying to share my dsl with two computers and it will
not work with the vpn client installed
box a
nic 1 169.254.x.x given by isp provider
nic 2 192.168.0.1 for local network
box b 192.168.0.2 local network
when vpn installed box a can ping box b..... but box b
gets no reply when pinging box a.. also no computers are
listed in network neighborhood.. cisco says that their
software will work with tcp/ip when configured correctly
and says the problem is with microsoft... how can I get
the two to work together? the issue seems to be a routing
issue or something...
