volume icon changed

My harddisk has got three partitions: c, d (both ntfs) and e (fat32).

One of my friends has achieved something I didn't event know was
possible: he somehow chanced the icon of the fat_volume. The icon
which is now shown using explorer, is that of a group. If I
double_click on this item in my computer, it opens a folders content
on this drive (you don't recognize it is a volume).
If I use windows-explorer and click on my computer, it shows again the
wrong icon, but the normal (good) volume_nmae which is "recover". And
if I click on it I see the different folders which are and should be
on this drive.
My friend insists that the only thing he has done is defragment the
c-partition.
Any idea how I can reset this?

One of my special folders (e.g. My Documents, My Music, My Pictures, Shared
Documents, etc) has lost its name, lost its icon, or has the wrong Task Pane
template, how can I get it back?

For reasons unknown, some users find that drives or system folders display
the wrong tasks relative to the folder contents. The C: drive may display
music tasks; The 'My Music' folder may display picture tasks, etc. While
user-created folders allow access to the 'Customize' tab in the 'Properties'
dialog, drives and system folders do not give you this option.
