Vodafone USB Modem

For mobility purposes I bought one of these in February last. When I tried
installing I found that it was not compatible with my newly acquired Vista
Ultimate. Vodafone accepted this when I complained but promised release of
an update within a month. The update has been released within the last week.
In the interim I could only run the modem on my XP laptop networked to my
Vista model. Some mobility!

Now have installed the update and transferred the modem over to my Vista
machine all seems well except for one problem- Whilst I could share internet
access on both machines when the modem was on XP, I cannot manage to do so
with the modem on Vista.
I know this is a shot in the dark but maybe somebody out there can help?

Thank you Mick- I had thought of this too. However I like to try to advance
my limited knowledge by trying, with a little help from my friends, to
figure these little problems out. It's the nature of this beast. Anyway
that's what these forums are for.
