I get this from multiple spyware packages as we run VNC all across our
enterpise. But VNC *can* be a trojan/spyware product. If you can get it to a
user's PC and get them to install it, you're in. Instant spyware.

You can also set AS to ignore the item on future scans.

I don't think this is a bug. Microsoft clearly expains this when you
highlight the detected VNC application. I am glad they did this as VNC can
be bundled with spyware, bots, etc. but will create havoc for corporate
users that use it for legitimate desktop admin functions. Hope they allow
filtering of this in final product but will create more headache for
sysadmins.

So I guess Microsofts Remote Desktop would be spyware too? Not?

Setting to always ignore works well. I was suprised myself
to see if detected. Later though I realized, if it was on
my system and I didnt know I would want to know. It can be
malicious for someone to have complete access to your
computer and not even know how to write a program...
