VNC issues

I am not current with the compatiblity issues between MS
AS and VNC, however i will like to add my experiences to
the list of bugs: -

When connecting through VNC to a VNC server, AS exhibits
some odd behaviour. The system pauses and delays loading
any programs until it te service is shutdown. To go with
this odd behaviour, you can see multiple systray icons
loading and appearing. At some point i counted 8 side-by-
side.

Clearly this is a problem and it has been replicated on
other systems i have.

I and others have already reported this in this section. I don't know if you
can search. But there is already a thread on this. But it's good to see
people are doing good beta testing and reporting.

As Tester mentions, others have reported this. And Steve Dodson has
confirmed that this behavior is being investigated.

It might help to mention the distribution and version of VNC involved. So
far, folks have mentioned the current UltraVNC build, and TightVNC--not sure
if a third was mentioned.

Thanks for the heads up.

Indeed with every forum its sage to search beforehand.
Unfortuantely, i failed to bring anything meaningful
first time round. Maybe the search function is local to
the particular topc and not forum-wide.

I feel relaxed now that something of this magnatude has
already been flagged.

May i also contribute by amending my previous post for
the version number:

RealVNC 3.3.7 thru to 4 (so far as tested)
