Vlookup won't work across two spreadsheets (table array)

Hi

I have 2 spreadsheets. When I type in the vlook up formula and get to the
table array section I go over to the other spreadhseet and highlight the
range of cells (the table array) but its not picked up in the formula.

Any suggestions?

oh by the way, I'm using excel 2010
