Visual Studio .NET

Hi, I have been trying to get visual studio .net to
develop POCKET PC apps but it will not give it me as an
option when i select new project.

I have installed the following software

Visual studio .NET
Microsoft Embedded Tools 3.0
Active Sync 3.7
Embedded Visual C 4.0
Embedded Visual C SP2
Microsofr Pocket PC 2003 SDK
Net Compact Frame Work SP1

(in that order)

i can develop in eVC 4 or Microsoft Embedded Tools 3.0
but i cannot get in the .NET IDE.

I have followed all the documentation on the MSDN and
cannot get it to work has anyone got ideas (im about to
lose my tiny little mind).

Hi Chris! It seems to me you need one of two things
Smart Devices Extensions (For VS.Net 2002) o
Visual Studio.Net 2003

VS.Net does not include, as default, environment to develop for PocketPc or Windows CE
If you have VS.net 2002, you can get upgrade for $29.00 + shipping. Contact MSFT

The $29 upgrade was discontinued as from end of September 2003 (unless
it's been restarted)

that the order of installation is important. The steps are in the Appendix
section of the page.
