Visual studio 2005 remote debugging monitor

Hello group
I just had a perplexing experience about this software or whatever
that suddenly appeared in my program files that I never remember to
have installed it or whatever...
Now I would like to know if somebody knows about this and what is its
importance and why would it act like that...?
Is this a secret microsoft tool that would just appear out of nowwhere
or what,,,,,,?
As there is no uninstallation handle , how can it be removed.

It is a part of the Visual Studio 2005 package. It is designed for
developers to run a program on one computer, at nearly full speed, while
monitoring and controlling that program from another computer. I am no
expert, but I don't believe that it is loaded by MS as part of an OS or at
any other time. My guess would be that it was loaded by some program that
you installed, and it was left in by the developers probably by accident.
It could be some malicious method of opening a back door on your system, but
I don't think it is.
