I hope you won't mind if I spam this newsgroup with a little announcement:
Visual Studio 2005 Beta 1 is available! The Express editions are available
for public download, and the full version is available for MSDN subscribers.
Get more info and download from:

http://lab.msdn.microsoft.com/vs2005/get/default.aspx

This beta contains the 2.0 version of the .NET Framework, including all the
new ADO.NET 2.0 stuff! Those of you that are curious about what's comming in
managed data-access-land, please download and install this Beta 1 and feel
free to send feedback, comments, suggestions, etc. to this newsgroup or to
me directly.

Thanks and enjoy!

I don't see the Beta 1 available for download. I'm a MSDN Universal subscriber and only the March and May previews are in the download area (and I'm getting errors when trying to download those). Is it somewhere else? I'm trying to download any version of VS2005 for a quick preview, but I'm not able to download any.

They said it would be available late in the week... so it should be
appearing anytime now on the MSDN subscriber download areas.
