I am quite new to VSS and I can't figure out how to check in all files
that I've checked out in various directories in one shot.

Is there a command like that?
Because now I have to go and hunt various directories for all the files,
I've checked out.

Thanks.

from the visual source safe menu select all the files and right click then
select check in

hi

You can select the $root folder and select checking with the recursive
option checked.
It will check in ALL files checked out by you in all the subfolders.

Recursive is the key, you have to specify it, but you can also make it as a
default.
