Visual Foxpro 5

I cannot install Visual Foxpro 5 on XP Pro.
It either hangs on installation, or says cannot read CD.
I even once installed it, but couldn't find afterwards.
Is it too old for XP?
Is it a 16 bit vs. 32 bit problem?

You probably need to upgrade to FoxPro 8.0

Hi Alan,

I've never used VFP5 but my FPW2.6 runs fine on WinXP and VFP6, VFP7 and
VFP8 also run fine on WinXP. I haven't heard discussions about problems with
VFP5 in particular.

Try posting this to a FoxPro newsgroup such as
microsoft.public.programmer.exchange on this same news server.
