Visual C++ Runtime Error

every time using IE 6 at some point the error message
runtime error pops up and frezes the computer. ckicking
OK closes IE and all info is lost from the session. Any
ideas on this. it has only been hapening with the most
recient SW. i am running XP pro. thanks.

1. Having both the Microsoft VM and Sun Java enabled (tools | Internet
Options | Advanced).

2. Runtime Library Microsoft Visual C++, Runtime Error Program
C:\Windows\Explorer.exe or Iexplore.exe, abnormal program termination.
