visual c++ runtime error

i keep getting an error called visual C++ runtime error

Program:C:/Program Files/Internet Explorer/iexplore.exe

R6025 Pure Virtual Function Call

does anyone know what this is or how to correct it. when
i get it, it makes my computer go haywire and the caps
lock comes on and programs shut down on their
own,,,,please, someone help before the computer goes out
the window!
