Want to move my data folders onto another partision (D: ). Vista seems to
put these folders on the system disk (c:\users\my name) by default. I don't
like. How do I go about it?

Click on Start, then right click on "Documents" and select Properties. Click
on the location tab and specify the new location for the folders.

Addendum:

When you select a new target via the 'Move' button on the 'Location' tab,
you need to point it to the actual folder you want designated as
'Documents' -- Vista does not create a new 'Documents' folder in the folder
you specify. It seems this has caused confusion for some users.
