Uninstall the trial version from Start | Control Panel | Add or Remove
Programs. Reinstall your "original Office version" using your Office CD
and 25-digit product key.

Is this the only way to do it? My Office CD is somewhere in my office in CA,
God knows if I can even find it. Isn't there another way to just go back to
the original? I am completly screwed, I need to be able to use this now

If you have replaced the original version then it is not going to reappear
by magic. If you installed alongside the original, then assuming you didn't
make the registry change shown at
http://www.gmayor.com/Toolbars_in_word_2007.htm (if you did reverse it) the
older version of Office should reconfigure itself when you next use it -
however it may still require the original installation disc should it be
necessary to repair the installation.
