Vista will not start up, the bar just keeps going and going

I was viewing a movie file in windows media player, and my comp just froze so
i shut it down using the button. when i turned it on again it would go to the
load up bar and just keep going and would never load. I tried safe mode and
last good known configuration.. i got nothing. do you guys know what my
problem is?
 
If you have a the Vista DVD, try doing a startup Repair with it.

Has Media Player been OK before this?
If yes; could be hardware, like graphics Card.
But, from here, it is only a guess.

It should still be under Warranty; just!
