I tried to install the Vista Transformation Pack once and it didn't install
for some reason - it just got stuck in the middle of the process. I was
installing it in safe mode as recommended.
I also remember there was a choice as to how to install it - one choice for
the install changes your system files and while that gives you a more
authentic "Vista look" as a result, you are also warned that it is a
"Do-so-at-your-own-risk" situation.
There is the other install option which is safer and it apparently does not
directly affect your system files, but you also might not get the most
authentic Vista makeover as a result.
Thanks, Frank
