Vista the new Win ME?

I had ME until around 2004 and thought it was OK, not fantastic but OK. I don't know why so many
people bash ME, but maybe I was just lucky with it in that I didn't have crashing problems.

Vista - well it's different from XP, I'd rather it wasn't so different since I have to learn all the
differences. I'm mainly talking about differences the settings in Control panel, which non-technical
users mostly will not need to use. It's a bit slow with even 1Mbyte of RAM and aero turned off, but
that problem should fade in two years time since 2Gbyte of RAM will get very cheap, even for a
laptop. There are some quirks, but eventually they will get sorted. The new GUI, well to be honest I
turn Aero off - 3d effects don't interest me, although I can see that a lot of non-techical users
will like it. Currently I prefer XP, but no doubt I'll get more into Vista as time goes by.

Allot of the people who bash ME proly never had it installed. They just
feel "accepted" by joining when others bash ME. Same as with Vista.
They're all just linux loser trolls.

As though someone cares. And, if you have to be forced to love Vista, stay
with whatever floats your boat. It would be nice though, if you'd STFU
regarding what choices others make. judging by some of your other posts,
perhaps that's too much to ask...

Guessing is all you can do, given that I rarely post in this group. You,
however, can easily be judged by your posts here. It's not looking good,
sweetpea.
