Visual Studio.NET 2003 is not supported at all under any version of Vista:

Yes, but only after applying SP1 and the Vista Update patch:

Is Visual Studio 2003 fully supported under Vista Ultimate ?

It's no, it does run though. I have it insalled in Vista Ultimate and I have
found a couple of problems, especially when dealing with PPC applications,
sometimes it disappear from memory when you are deploying the app. But for
windows apps it runs fine.

And about Visual Studio 2005 ?

It's , you have to download the SP1 for vista though.
