I installed 2GB into my computer but only 1GB shows in Vista (32-bit). The
BIOS shows 2GB. What do I need to do.

Click on the start button and in the start search type msconfig as
administrator

Then click on the boot tab, then Advanced Options and make sure the Maximum
memory is unchecked, click OK then Apply.

After you have rebooted all your memory should show.

This worked for me

Go to Start, Accessories, Right click on Run and "Run as Administrator".
Type MSCONFIG, and press enter. Click on the boot tab, Advanced and uncheck
where it says "Maximum Memory". Click Ok. Then reboot, and it should show
up.
