I'm looking for a Conexant AC-Link Audio Driver for Vista 64-bit. I have a
HP Pavilion dv8315nr Notebook. HP has been no help at all (big surprise) and
Conexant doesn't seem to post any drivers except for their modems.

Has anyone found one or know where I can get one?

Hey I have A HP Livestrong L2310 With the same Audio, Just installed the RC1
and had the same problem heres what will help you. Try this:
http://www.planetamd64.com/index.php?showtopic=26653 Follow the instructions
correctly and it should work fine. The Test Mode things we is taking about in
the post are small and out of the way. Hope it helps Let me know if it does,
also if it doesnt!!!!!

I have the same notebook, and could not get any "fix" to work.

The only way I got my devices to work was uninstall 64bit and install 32bit
:(

I would really like to run 64bit vista, I am hopeful drivers will be
available after rtm.

No Fix worked for you? Did you try this one? Cause there is a similar post
about this audio driver, but it wouldnt work for me it was Bcdedit -set
Intergritychecks on. It would never work for me. This one worked fine. Did
you have anyother problems? I have a problem with it turning off. Sometimes
when i TURN OFF it goes to a White like screen with clouds i think. Dont know
what it is, but its no biggie, just a nucence, i wait till harddrive stops
then restart manualy. I guess it might be my laptop but your the second
person ive heard say they cant get it to work. My Laptop Likes Me :). Let me
know how 32 works. Id like to know, is it slower then 64? I would guess so.
let me know if you found anymore probs and fixes thatnks.

This didn't work for me either :( it installed, and I see the "test mode" in
the corners, but still no audio or recognizing the driver.

I hate the idea of having to reformat (again) and going down to 32-bit, so
if anyone else has suggestions I would love to hear them!

Thanks everyone for your efforts!

Ok did you do all of the instructions? Im not calling you dumb or notin, but
in the instructions were kinda messy. Did you copy the Certificate TWICE? Did
you make sure you went into device manager and then to the audio device and
then forced the driver on? Forcing i mean telling it to look at that folder
for the driver? If so and it still wont work maybe your laptop is messed
up??? Did you try the ATI Radeon drivers?

BCDEdit -set Nointegritychecks ON........worked for you? I could not for the
frecking life of me get it to work. Any ways atleast it works congrats thats
one of many trials of Beta testers......

BCDEdit -set Nointegritychecks ON didn't do anything. The key was the
download and then manually installing the driver through device manager.
Those were the only 2 steps that I was able to actually get to work and that
gave me sound :)

No SMURFIN way??? Well you installed the drivers manualy right? Is test mode
still on? Cause if it Is then that helped by disengaging Protection cause of
unsigned drivers.
