Ctrl-Shift-Escape

You are referring to the Task Manager. Right click on the taskbar, then
select it from the context menu. The keyboard shortcut to Task Manager is
now Ctrl-Shift-Esc, but it can still be opened up by hitting Ctrl-Alt-Del,
you will find it among the listed alternatives.

Thanks for your very prompt replies folks - much appreciated. Callum

The equivalent to XP's Ctrl-Alt-Del is Ctrl-Alt-Del.

The better choice is to run msconfig. Press Winkey+R and type msconfig.
