Vista or Windows 7

I bought a PC with XP about 2 years ago

it could probably do with a new graphics card but otherwise its goods for what I need it for

My missus has a laptop with Vista but I find it a bit offputting

should I wait for the next version of windows - or will it be ages until there is a stable release ?

If your pc's are running ok don't bother wasting your money at the moment.
Just my humble opinion.

It's not worth spending money on Vista now unless you can get a copy of Home Premium, Business or Ultimate very cheaply.

Windows 7 is supposed to be released in August and there are thousands of users with the Beta so it's possible lots of bugs will be ironed out by then. Possible but not definite.

So if all is running well at the moment, wait until around November before changing.

If your happy with windows xp keep with that.

Windows 7 is coming out soon but check the spec with your pc
