Ok so i have had my laptop for about a year now. and things have been good,
up untill about last thursday. something happened to my laptop that wont
allow me to CONNECT to the internet, i have tried everything. i did a system
restore, that didnt even work. cause about 20 minutes later i lost internet.
now its not JUST my laptop. my brother(also runnign vista) isnt able to
connect. At the moment im using my fathers laptop(running XP) so is it a
problem with the update from vista? because im using a linksys router. and
even plugging it in i still cant get internet. Please help me oh guru's of
computer wisdom....

If the problem was an anomaly (bug) in the software then it wouldn't be
affecting everyone in the house, especially if you have a router maintaining
the network.
