I am using Vista MCE and have 2 questions about whether I can make this
happen to make it work the way I want:
1. On my old digital cable dual tuner PVR, you could hit a button on the
remote to swap from one tuner to another. I liked using this because the
benefit is you could have 2 channels running live TV buffers on different
tuners so you could keep an eye on and rewind 2 shows without having to
initialize a record and have it permanently save to disk. How do you do
this with MCE?
2. With MCE, if you type in part of a channel number on the remote, after a
few seconds it will automatically tune to that channel. So, if you type in
5 and nothing else, it automatically tunes to channel 5. The problem with
this is I find myself often accidentally hitting the number buttons. How
most TVs act (or at least have a setting for this) and how I want MCE to act
is I want it to only change to channel 5 if I type the whole number (ie
0-0-5) or if I hit 5 then "OK". Is there any way to set this up?
Thanks
