vista mail takes long time to send with attachment

Hi,

my vista mail takes a very long time when I have something attached to the
outgoing mail.
Even a very small attachment of 9 kbytes takes about 30 seconds...
I have vista ultimative 64 bit danish version sp1.
I have tried to disable antivirus/firewall but it is still the same.
Prolonging the servers
responstime in account options to 1 minut..doesn´t help..

A mail with no attachment sends right away..

Anybody have an idea whats wrong or how to fix, please?

How fast an internet connection do you have? For example, dialup
or broadband, and what speed?

Messages with attachments are usually much larger than messages
without, but with a fast connection, you won't notice the difference
in sending times.

Make sure you turn off email scanning in your antivirus.
Windows Mail will not work properly when that option is used.
