Vista Mail recovery from HDD crash (w/o backup)

First, let me acknowledge that I suffered a partial HDD crash (that rendered
my HDD unable to boot). I did not have my backups up to date, and lost
several critical (of course!!) e-mails.

I have the replacement HDD operating, and have the old HDD operating as #2.

Now, my question: I need to know where Vista Mail keeps my sent and
received e-mail messages so that I can go to those files on the old
(damaged) disc to retrieve the critical files and move them to the same
named files on the new HDD #1 to retrieve the messages!!

If you know the names and extensions of the files, and any required process
to snaffle them back to the new primary disc, please explain it - and many
thanks.

Windows Mail keeps the raw message files in the following directory:
C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Mail\Local Folders\...
The files have random hexadecimal names with the .eml extension.
