Vista Mail attachments

I cannot attach photos from photo file. I select select the photos, right
click, select sent to, and it wants to attach them to outlook no to windows
mail. Can any one tell me what I am doing wrong. I have selected windows
mail as the default program.

Just because an email program is designated as 'default'
does not mean that all possible default protocols have been
assigned to it. To ensure the latter, do this:

Open the Default Programs applet, which you can access either from
the Start menu or via the Control Panel, then click the first item:
"Set your default programs."
After a few seconds, a list of programs comes up. Click on Windows
Mail. If it doesn't respond with "This program has all its defaults"
then fix it by clicking on the option indicated by the first green arrow.
