Vista "Junk" files

There are 113 "NLS" files in my Windows\System32 directory, all
created 9/18/2006 at 5:47 PM, and mostly 65K but several up to 200K.
They are of the form C_####.NLS. Does anyone know what these are and
if I can remove them without causing any problems?

They are Native Language Support files. Vista probably won't allow you to
delete them. They should most likely be left alone.
