Vista & IE7 & YouTube

I log on to You Tube to view video, You Tube tells me I need Flash Player. I
go to Adobe web site and download latest flash player. It tells me download
and install was successful. I still can't view videos on You Tube. Anyone
have a clue? Is there somthing in browser settings that I need to Change?

You have to uninstall flash player (get it around troubleshooting at
Adobe.com site)
and then install it again

or
use Mozilla Firefox instead
 
To Get Flash Player Working:

Install Flash Player (or so you think!)

Vista (32bit) go to C:\Windows\System32\Macromed folder

Vista(64bit) go to C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed folder

Open the folder and right click on 'FlashUtil9b.exe', then left click 'Run
as Administrator.' The Flash Player installer should now start and once it
completes, Flash Player should work and appear on the uninstall or change
program list.

This issue is related to how Windows Vista's security features prevent
applications from changing registry settings (even if you are logged in as
an
administrator) you must explicitly allow programs to make certain changes to
