VISTA HOME to XP PRO

Hi, I have a COMPAQ presario SR2120LA, I have VISTA HOME BASIC and I'm having
too many troblems with MS-VISUAL BASIC.NET & SQL SERVER 2005, I wanna
uninstall VISTA and instal XP-PRO, I mention the model of the PC becouse I
serch at www.compaq.com the drivers for that PC And I find out that there are
2 types of DRIVERS
1.- VISTA
2.- VISTA (x64)
The question is.
¿ do you think the drivers listed in VISTA will work in XP ?

They almost surely will NOT work in Windows XP.

So the computer had Vista pre-installed when you bought it?

You need to ask Compaq about Windows XP compatibility but my guess is
no otherwise the drivers would be labeled for Windows XP.
If the computer is new enough, perhaps you should return it and
purchase one with Windows XP.
