Vista Home basic upgrade to Business

Can I upgrade Vista Home Basic to the Business edition using the Business
Upgade?

It seems you could certainly upgrade to Vista Ultimate. That would 'get the
job done' even if more expensive than you planned.

Yes. Any version of vista can be upgraded. Check out the Vista site for full
info. You can even use the same disk and just pay for the business license.
It's on the Welcome Page, called Upgrade your Vista.

There are limitations in the AU license that don't exist when upgrading by
means of a retail upgrade edition. Anyone thinking about using the AU
should check the license for those restrictions.

I'm not sure about this; the "Upgrade Anytime" seems hard-tracked into
Home vs. Business streams. You can upgrade Basic to Premium or
Ultimate that way, but I don't see Business offered there.

I suspect Business is a separate track, with an "Upgrade Anytime" path
to Ultimate and nothing else (Enterprise lies between Business and
Ultimate, but is not generally distributed).
