Vista hangs after log on.

My computer keeps freezing while logging on. However I can run Vista on Safe
Mode.My Sistem Specs: p4 2.4ghz, 1Gb DDR, 150mb SATA, Ati 9600Pro

My guess is a hardware compatibility issue with the Video Card. Has anyone
expirienced something of the sort?
 
I have the same problem. I can stop the freezing if I turn off Vista
Aero. I believe it is either a video card problem, or a memory
problem. I have an AthlonXP 2600+, VIA KT600 chipset, 1GB DDR, ATI
9600 128 MB.
