vista error 8000FFF

I'm trying to get my PC that has Vista crap OS installed to update
itself but get the following error 8000FFF unable to update wish
software stuff up company would just replace vista with something that
is sort of stable but thay would have to go back to what DOS5 or really
learn to write software
